Maths Day

13 Mar 2020
We celebrated the World Pi Day with an initiative in KS 1 - Maths Day.

Our students turned to be real Maths enthusiasts and all through the day they played games, took part in different challenges and competitions and at the end of the day earned well-deserved awards.

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) all over the world. Pi is the Greek letter “π” and this is the symbol that represents a mathematical constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to express their attitude towards Maths. They often recite the infinite digits of Pi and talk to their friends about math.

Pi Day turned to be a tradition in our school and we are very proud to have so many eager to immerse into Maths, digits and counting children.
